The Freedom™ AUV is an advanced hybrid AUV/ROV system for high speed, close proximity inspections. It offers the data resolution and completeness of coverage found in an ROV combined with the speed and efficiency of a traditional AUV. It easily carries out pipeline inspections in a single pass as well as autonomous free span and crossing inspections, general visual and instrumented inspection of subsea structures, and bathymetric mapping using a multibeam echo sounder.
